The great interest of descendants of Jews formerly living in East Prussia in the history of their ancestors, and the curiosity of the young generation currently living in the Lithuanian, Polish and Russian part of the former region of East Prussia about the earlier Jewish population of East Prussia and their explusion led us, along with friends sharing this interest, to found a society at 2004 in Berlin.
Mission: Research about the Jews in the former German part of Europe. Because the population was completely replaced, almost nobody in Germany did the research about their former Jewish neighbours, like it is done in many parts in the Germany of today. This gap should be filled. Therefore we collect information, documents and family pictures from descendants from all over the world.
