😍 What to Expect

This meetup is about the full spectrum of UX, product and the people behind it. We invite anyone who is as passionate as we are about making the world more human-centric (and who makes a living doing it).

Our third session features Rebekka Hoffmann, Senior UX Researcher at Aroundhome, talking about "Building a UX Repository: How to Implement an Insights Library That Even Non-Researchers Will Love (and Use)".

In her talk, Rebekka will explain why building and maintaining UX repositories is worth the significant effort. She will highlight common pitfalls and key considerations, as well as the crucial questions to ask *before* getting started. Rebekka will also share her experiences, process, and lessons learned from setting up a repository in her own company.

This session is designed for both UX researchers and non-researchers, with the goal of bridging the gap between UX and product teams.

After her talk, you can ask Rebekka all your burning questions. It's perfectly fine if you don't feel like sharing in front of the whole group – you can always have a private chat with Rebekka and the rest of us in the networking session afterwards.

Join us at our "House of UX" in the heart of Friedrichshain, where we will take care of you with refreshments and pizza.

You have the option to:

  • register for a limited on-site spot or
  • watch the live stream remotely.

🎤 Our Speakers

">span> (Senior UX Researcher, Aroundhome)

Rebekka is a Berlin-based Senior UX Researcher with a PhD in psychology & engineering. Her passion? Playing detective to uncover the insights that drive impactful product decisions. Whether she's coordinating cross-functional teams in European research projects, or conducting hands-on studies in product companies, she loves seeing her work positively influence both product outcomes and the people she collaborates with.

">span> (Senior UX Researcher, Userlutions)

After studying computer science, Michelle traded in programming for her passion: UX design. Before joining Userlutions, she was responsible for the usability of a web application as part of an agile development team. Now she supports our customers with usability testing, conceptual projects and user research.

🧹 Housekeeping

Here are a few things to consider before getting your ticket:

📋 Requirements

This meetup is aimed at UX & Product professionals who are at least on mid-level (ideally senior or above). There are no strict requirements, but because the on-site spots are limited, we kindly ask you to leave them to the people who would get the most out of this event. But, there's another way to join...

📹 Live Stream

You can watch the talk from the comfort of your own home (make sure to grab a snack & drink) and also submit your questions for the Q&A via chat.

📸 Media Consent

We may take photos of this event for social media posts and promo. If you do not want to be photographed, please let us know when you arrive at the event. We will make sure that your privacy is respected. You won't be visible in the live stream, but audible if you choose to ask a question.

❌ Cancellation

Given the limited availability of on-site spots, we want to make sure that everyone who wants to attend can do so. If you can't join us in person, please consider cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite (and get a remote ticket instead). This will allow someone else to take your spot and is greatly appreciated, thanks!
