Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.Allerdings ist eine vorherige Anmeldung aufgrund von begrenzten Teilnehmerzahlen erforderlich.
📍 Standort & Transport
Wir treffen uns am:Seiteneingang des Verwaltungsgebäudes des Deutschen Historischen Museums,
Hinter dem Gießhaus 3 (gegenüber Haus Bastian – Zentrum für kulturelle Bildung).
Die Veranstaltung führt dann zum Humboldt Forum, Schloßplatz 10178, Berlin.
ℹ️ Veranstaltungsdetails
Im Rahmen des Rundgangs erhalten die Teilnehmer Einblicke in die Provenienzforschung zu Buch- und Museumsobjekten, die mit Kulturgutentzügen in der Sowjetischen Besatzungszone und der DDR verbunden sind.Das Team für Provenienzforschung wird seine Arbeitsweisen und aktuellen Projekte zur postkolonialen Provenienzforschung zu den Sammlungen des Ethnologischen Museums und des Museums für Asiatische Kunst vorstellen.
Die Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit, mit den Provenienzforscher:innen die Ausstellungsräume zu besuchen und anschließend eigenständig die Ausstellungen, wie z.B. die Geschichte Tansanias, zu erkunden.

- Der Rundgang ist nicht barrierefrei.
- Hinweis: Die Teilnehmer werden gebeten, Jacken, Mäntel und Taschen an der Garderobe des Humboldt Forum abzugeben.

The event will take place on April 9, 2025.The provenience walk lasts approximately 80 minutes and will be conducted in German.
🎫 Tickets & Entry
Participation is free of charge.However, advance registration is required due to limited participant numbers.
📍 Location & Transport
We will meet at:Side entrance of the Administrative Building of the German Historical Museum,
Behind the Gießhaus 3 (opposite Haus Bastian - Center for Cultural Education).
The event will then lead to the Humboldt Forum located at Schloßplatz 10178, Berlin.
ℹ️ Event Details
During the walk, participants will gain insights into the provenance research relating to book and museum objects associated with cultural property transfers in the Soviet Occupation Zone and the GDR.The Provenance Research Team will share their working methods and current projects on postcolonial provenance research concerning the collections of the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit exhibition spaces with provenance researchers and then independently explore exhibitions such as the history of Tanzania.

- Please note that attendees are requested to check in coats, jackets, and bags at the cloakroom of the Humboldt Forum.
