SCRATCH BERLIN - Vol. 2!

Hello! Since the success of April's pilot event, I have gathered a thrilling line-up of writer/performers to scratch some creative itches!

We'll begin with the sharings followed a short break, then re-gather for the audience feedback and creative conversations. Can't wait!

Presenting:

Jesse Dupré with: Blurring the Lines (character exploration)

Jesse is a physical theatre performer and character comedian from London, currently based in Berlin. She is co-director of multi award-winning Haste Theatre with whom she has devised shows and toured internationally since 2013. Supported by Arts Council England, she created her first solo show 'On The Edge' in 2023 and is now performing it in various countries including Prague, UK and Berlin. Instagram: @jessedupreartist

Rõisín Brehony with: Spleen Dion (drag/character development)

Rõisín is an actor and musician from Manchester UK. Usually found clowning around with Shakespeare, she's taking her performance into a more absurd direction this year. Spleen Dion is Rõisín's newest drag character and she will be workshopping this act in July.

Anna Bănică with: Noracore (theatre)

Actress and theatre maker originally from Bucharest, Romania based in Berlin since 2021 and establishing an independent, English-speaking theatre company for fellow professional artists with international backgrounds. "Noracore" is my debut in playwriting, combining a modern vision and issue with Ibsen's iconic feminine (and feminist) character from his master play, "A Doll's House", Nora Helmer.
