SAHRA is back for the first time in 2025! and this time we are celebrating new beginnings!

SAHRA, Berlin's recurring club night, is back and better than ever! After a break, we are fully charged and gearing up for the new year and the launch of the Sahra 2025 season! We have a lot of surprises for you down the line, starting with our first event of 2025, at our favorite Berlin venue, Badehaus!

SAHRA (Sah-raa), meaning "a night out" in Arabic, is a pioneering multicultural club night that showcases the best of SWANA/Arabic music styles and talents from across the globe. From beloved Arabic oldies and Shaabi sounds like Dabke and Mahraganat to emerging hybrid and avant-garde genres such as Electro-tarab, Oriental techno, and Post-Shaabi, SAHRA offers something for everyone.

SAHRA is more than just a party; it’s a powerful act of coming together and creating cultural spaces for us, by us. It’s a celebration of our roots and a testament to the vibrant diversity of the SWANA culture. These nights transform dancefloors into pockets of home, where our heritage's nostalgic rhythms and melodies offer the chance to connect and celebrate our culture. In a world that is increasingly marginalizing our voices, this existence becomes resistance—a joyful, unapologetic assertion of our identities and traditions in spaces we claim as our own.

Safety and Awareness
The Safety of our partygoers and creating an inclusive safe space is one of the core pillars of our mission. Our space is accredited by Good Night Out and our awareness team includes trained members from diverse backgrounds. They are there to make sure everyone is having a good time. By ensuring that everyone feels welcome and respected, they help maintain the diverse and vibrant atmosphere that defines Sahra.

We will challenge all inappropriate behaviors including any form of discrimination, intimidation or harassment, and will try to do our best to work fairly with those affected in confidentiality. We want to emphasize that nobody is allowed to occupy a space, mind, or body that has not been mutually agreed upon. To do this, we reserve the right to let anyone in or out of the space at any time.
