When we started out all we wanted to do was go inside the agencies we admired the most but unless you were hired it was almost impossible to get access. We were fascinated by their work, culture and people but their methods were guarded and their approach was top secret.

We are committed to shattering those barriers by sharing with you the processes used by freelancers, founders and teams. We care about sharing the story of people at all stages of their because we believe in elevating all voices, irrelevant of age, ability and background.

SPEAKERS
Each of our events feature two speakers including freelancers, founders and teams. We ask them to share their processes including the challenges they face, the methods they employ and the people they work with.

Formal Setting, Co-Founder, Siri Lee Lindskrog
Siri Lee Lindskrog is a Berlin based type- and graphic designer and co-founder of Formal Settings, a design studio, creating typographically driven visual communication in collaboration with various international clients, mainly in the fields of art, culture and publishing. The studio is characterised by a strong engagement in the field and a reflective practice blending tradition and experimentation as well as Scandinavian and international influences. Siri Lee has exhibited her type design work in Buchstabenmuseum in Berlin (Berlin Letter Museum) and has received a Certificate of Excellence in Typography from Type Directors Club. She is also co-author of the book Notes on Book Design, which was published in 2023 with Dutch publisher Onomatopee. In 2023 she juried for the

international design competition Best Book Design from all over the World and has since 2021 been co-organiser of the international design festival Post Design Festival. Siri Lee is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark but has since 2015 lived and worked in New York and Berlin.

VENUE
Workish is a coworking space in Berlin, designed for work and all the other stuff we couldn’t quite fit in a name. We took over the space from betahaus in 2021, inheriting super nice furniture and all the equipment you need for serious work. We’ve since grown to 3 floors of coworking, private offices, event space, and 100+ members right here in Neukölln.
