Nas is one of the most influential and respected rappers in the hip-hop industry. He has been in the game for over 25 years and has released 13 studio albums to date. Born Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones in 1973 in New York City, Nas grew up in the Queensbridge housing projects, which served as the backdrop for much of his early material.

Nas burst onto the scene in 1994 with his debut album, "Illmatic," which is considered by many to be one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. The album was a critical and commercial success, featuring hit singles like "N.
