Der Eintritt zur Veranstaltung ist kostenlos, jedoch ist ein Ticket erforderlich. Restkarten sind vor Ort erhältlich. Bitte beachtet, dass die Veranstaltung auf Deutsch stattfinden wird und für Teilnehmer ab 16 Jahren geeignet ist.

Die Veranstaltung wird von Dr. Karena Kalmbach moderiert, die die Stabsstelle Strategie und Inhalte im Futurium leitet und Expertin für Umwelt- und Technikgeschichte ist. Zu Gast ist Prof. Dr. Christian Neuhäuser, Professor für Praktische Philosophie an der TU Dortmund, der zu Fragen der Würde, Wirtschaftsgerechtigkeit und politischer Verantwortung arbeitet.
Die Diskussionen konzentrieren sich darauf, ob die Gesellschaft tatsächlich polarisiert, ob wir ein gemeinsames Wertefundament brauchen und wie wir eine konstruktive Streitkultur erreichen können.
Speisen und Getränke sind im Restaurant vor Ort erhältlich. Während der Veranstaltung werden Fotos und Videos gemacht; wenn ihr nicht abgebildet werden wollt, informiert uns bitte im Voraus.

Join us on April 10, 2025, at the Futurium in Berlin for an engaging discussion exploring how we negotiate and construct our futures. The event will focus on the importance of communication, compromise, and the cultivation of a fruitful culture of debate.
🎫 Tickets & Entry
Admission to the event is free, but a ticket is required. Remaining tickets will be available on-site. Please be aware that the event will be held in German, and is suitable for attendees aged 16 and older.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and equipped with an induction loop system for those with hearing impairments.
ℹ️ Event Details
This event will be moderated by Dr. Karena Kalmbach, head of the Strategy and Content Department at Futurium and an expert in environmental and technology history. Joining her will be guest Prof. Dr. Christian Neuhäuser, a Practical Philosophy professor at TU Dortmund, specializing in issues of dignity, economic justice, and political responsibility.
Discussions will focus on whether society is indeed polarizing, the necessity of a common values foundation, and how we can attain a constructive culture of debate.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the restaurant on-site. During the event, photos and videos will be taken; if you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in advance.
