SomoS invites you to our upcoming Open Studios event, featuring current resident artists Songül Karakoç, Christopher Houweling, Ely Young, and Jennifer Marquardt!
Our Open Studios offers a unique chance to step into the creative spaces of our resident artists, offering a direct glimpse into how their ideas evolve. In the studios and exhibition areas, the artists share works at various stages of development—together with the questions, methods, and dialogues that shape them. It’s an open and informal setting to connect with the artists and discover the diverse approaches they bring to their art-making.

Participating Artists:
Songül Karakoç presents her evocative project "Have A Seat," which explores personal public spaces in Istanbul and Berlin.
Christopher Houweling gives insight into his unique cosmic 3D paper cutting technique and his upcoming interactive installation "MOLÉCULA."
In a special installation in the gallery space, Ely Young shares her recent paintings and drawings, which trace duality and vulnerability.
Jennifer Marquardt, developing a metafictional novel through a fascinating dialogue with AI, will read from her work at 8 PM.
