Ninja Episkopat is the bastard child of the pandemic, social media, and the all-encompassing boredom we experienced in 2021. “The Slipknot of Polish Jazz”, as some have said. The sound they create is a fusion of electronica, rock, contemporary and improvised music. Their rich musical experiences have borne fruit in which both subtlety and primitivism coexist. In this apparent contradiction, they see the primal urge that begets all jazz music.

In 2022, Ninja debuted with the EP "God Save The Queer." With this material, the band had the opportunity to perform in many places in Poland, ("Soundrive", Jazz Jantar Festival, True Tone Festival and more) In 2023, the latest conceptual album "All Thoughts Are Bad Thoughts" was released under the Audio Cave label. This material was presented at the band's concerts both in Poland and abroad (Czech Republic and Germany).
About the Album:
The 2020’s are the new 1960’s, although we don’t see this as a naive repeat of the Summer of Love and Flower Power, instead we’re witnessing the chaos and helter skelter of our age. Society has never been as polarized, the climate crisis is ongoing, economic stability is in question, people keep on trusting fascist authority figures, while new technologies like AI further disrupt the social fabric. This dystopian landscape is what feeds our imagination and led us
to create “All Thoughts Are Bad Thoughts,” a sonic assault to match the times we live in.
