The Incredible, Edible, Akynos Pronouns: Sir/h’or/Sex Worker/The/Thou/Thine/Gahdess/Bitch/It/Black/King/The Vagina

The Incredible, Edible, Akynos AKA M.F. Akynos (MFA)is a multi-dimensional performer stripper. Influenced by African dance, the Black diaspora, pop music and the wild womn spirit of Sex Workers, Akynos’ work is about upending the patriarchy and setting her own terms on what it means to be a womxn in a Black body. The foul mouthed Bitch holds grudges and harvests her righteous anger to spite her enemies. AAVE, kente prints, large afros and dancing wildly to African drums is the signature style of this performer dubbed The Beast Of Burlesque. She is the founder and Executive Director of The BSWC and all its global branches.

Little Woman, BIG HAIR Productions is thrilled to continue their collaboration with The Black Sex Worker Collective (BSWC) in the 2024 theme for the ongoing performance and storytelling series Heaux Tales with the latest socially engaged theatrical performance project theme: Black H'or Futurism. Part of the ongoing campaign for visibility, inclusion, the DEcriminalization of bodies and financial stability for The Black Sex Worker Collective - Berlin, this year’s theme is loosely inspired by Octavia Butler's speculative fiction novel "Parable of the Sower."

Black H'or Futurism is a groundbreaking performance that delves into the sexual creative energies of Black Sex Workers in the fight for environmental justice, land rights, and labor rights with the backdrop of technology. In fragments, this production encourages the reimagining and reclamation of the displaced bodies and minds of those forced to the margins by social inequalities.

In over 24 hours of interdisciplinary and intersectional artistry, attendees enter the irresistible imagination of the central operating mind of a sleeping Black Sex Worker, portrayed by artist MF Akynos. Where in her dreamscape, a world unfolds fragmented dreams and false awakenings that explore the morbid realities, joy, and resilience within queer and migrant communities. Here, we find our roots in Afro futurism and African parables. Where our perception of darkness is challenged, the ancestors come to life, technology has greatly advanced, and onlookers access the transformative idea that sex work is part of our human future and that theories and practices of sex work developed by Sex Workers are essential in melding technologies, global Black experiences, and paths for radical tomorrows.

Black H’or Futurism is profane, dirty, transgressive, posits future worlds built by and reflecting the experiences of people of African descent. Excerpts of the show will incorporate music, rest & rehabilitation and food. Commencing on October 6 and 7 the experience takes place at Berlin's own transformative artistic space, 90 Mil. A bevy of surprise guest artists will interpolate intersectional art within the conceptual dreamscape of creator and BSWC executive director, The Incredible, Edible, Akynos, alongside original performances and stories by BSWC-Berlin members: Queenie Starr, and Visage. With special guest performances by Martini Cherry Furter, Savannah Morgan, Angel Maxine, Michelle Tshibola. Music by Ixa psyborg, with Edie Montana & Mei Magdalene as The Regime. GodXXX Noirphiles creates the brain art piece for the production.

Advanced ticket purchasing is highly encouraged. Those who cannot attend in person are welcomed to purchase tickets for communities who otherwise cannot afford to attend. Sales go towards the ongoing project creation which directly supports people of multiple marginalized backgrounds.

Liquid Brain Orchestra isn’t just a band—it’s an ever-evolving circle of sonic experimentation, a living organism that shapeshifts through genres like a squid on psychedelics. Founded by musicians dedicated to obliterating the walls between "noise" and "music," their sound is a kaleidoscope of hypnotic drones, schizoid rhythms, and dissonant soundscapes. They take their craft seriously—so seriously, in fact, that they laugh at conventional song structures, wringing every drop of life from their instruments until the music itself seems to have a nervous breakdown (but in the best way). Are they jazz? Post-rock? Prog-noise? All and none of the above. Their live shows are a trip through the unexpected, where your brain might just melt a little—and that’s where the magic happens. Welcome to the Liquid Brain Orchestra.
