Sometimes we've got no idea what's coming for us until it does. Think, "That thunderstorm started out of nowhere!" or "I didn't know she would leave after 5 years." We can't stop it, and in some cases, we wouldn't want to. So come tell us about a time you encountered the unexpected: good, bad, or just plain wet. Or come and listen -- good stories need good listeners too.

Doors open at 19:30, stories start at 20:00.

Entry is sliding scale 2 - 5€.

What is this thing?

Club Motte is a live storytelling event where everyone is invited to tell a true story, off-the-cuffe, inspired by the night’s theme. No need to prepare in advance; we like our stories fresh! And there’s no list, no voting, no winner. Just a group of people ready to listen, and a few who have something to say.

Do I have to tell a story?

Nope, you just have to listen to the stories other people tell. But if you decide at any point throughout the night that you DO want to tell a story, you can!
