Gary Numan

Gary Numan is a British synth-pop pioneer and one of the most successful and influential artists of the 1980s. He has released 14 studio albums, six live albums, and numerous singles, compilations, and remixes. Numan has been acclaimed for his expansive, cinematic soundscapes and his unique blend of rock and electronic music.

Numan rose to fame in 1979 with the release of his influential debut album, The Pleasure Principle. The album featured the chart-topping single “Cars”, which has since become a classic of the genre. He followed it up with the successful albums Telekon and Replicas, both of which featured more electronic-based music than Numan’s previous releases.

Numan has continued to release music over the years, including the critically acclaimed album Savage (Songs from a Broken World) in 2017. He has also collaborated with other artists, including Nine Inch Nails and Killing Joke.
